Juan Carlos Perez is a first-generation Mexican-American raised in Chicago, IL. He brings forth fifteen years of experience in both public policy and community advocacy. His expertise ranges from political and the non-profit sector. Most recently Juan Carlos served as the California Project Director with Revolution Strategies and led ‘Juntos por el Valle’ campaign in the Central Valley. Juan Carlos oversaw and managed the outreach strategy to increase Latino voter engagement during the 2022 midterm elections.

Prior to Revolution Strategies, Juan Carlos was the Associate Director of Coalition Operations and Outreach for City Year/Voices for National Service. In this capacity, Juan Carlos worked alongside national partners in uplifting national service policy priorities. Previous experience also includes serving as the National Latino Engagement Director for Pete for America, Director of Membership and Advocacy at GreeenLatinos, and Program Specialist at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.

Juan Carlos is excited to join the T.R.U.S.T. South LA team and move the work forward of uplifting the South Los Angeles community.
