Jeffrey Morales is a detail-oriented and versatile professional with a strong foundation in applied mathematics,financial systems and physics, holding dual degrees from California State University, Long Beach in Physics and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Finance. At his current role, Jeffrey supports both the Finance and Human Resources departments through a wide range of operational and analytical tasks.
A lifelong resident of South Los Angeles, Jeffrey is deeply committed to community engagement. He has supported local schools through after-school programs, teaching block-based programming with LEGO robotics, and mentoring bilingual students in mathematics through initiatives like Gear Up 4 LA. His passion for STEM education began early, having helped revive his high school’s robotics team and participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition. He has hands on experience in data analysis and data modeling through his research assistant position at CSULB.
His responsibilities include processing checks, entering deposits and transactions into QuickBooks, and preparing bank reconciliation reports for review by the Finance Director. He also assists with month-end and year-end closings, external audit preparation, and the creation of audit schedules. In addition to his accounting duties, Jeffrey organizes financial and HR files, monitors insurance for Trusts and LLCs, and contributes to various organizational initiatives, events, and campaigns.
Jeffrey’s background in financial systems and his commitment to accuracy and efficiency make him a reliable asset to the team. His community involvement such as mentoring students in STEM and bilingual education, reflects his dedication to service and growth both inside and outside the workplace.
