Finance Director

Arrens Castro is an experienced finance professional whose background spans Big 4 audit firms, public CPA practices, and companies across the nonprofit, retail, petroleum, construction, and manufacturing sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master Executive MBA. 

Arrens has been with TRUST South LA for over 10 years, where she leads the organization’s financial operations with a focus on transparency, accountability, and mission alignment. Her contributions have been critical in strengthening internal controls, advancing grant compliance, supporting community-driven real estate projects, and building sustainable financial systems for long-term impact. 

She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs. She also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Accounting from AICPA, is a Certified Global Management Accountant, and a Certified Tax Preparer. Through ongoing professional education, she remains committed to ethical standards and community-focused financial leadership in the nonprofit sector.
