City Controller Ron Galperin visits T.R.U.S.T. South L.A.

We would like to thank City Controller Ron Galperin for visiting T.R.U.S.T. South L.A. We look forward to work closely together on projects that will have a beneficial impact to our community housing crisis.

Thanks for joining us this month to advocate for an affordable housing development at the old Bethune Library. We continue to demand that public lands be developed for the benefit of the community. If you have not yet, please sign the petition to ask CD8 council member and the mayor to listen to us. This week we held our Land for the People Taskforce meeting to learn from our partners at L.A Neighborhood Land Trust about park stewardship and community engagement for creating parks and gardens in South Central L.A!

LA County COVID-19 Rent Relief Program starts August 17th

Tenants (renters whose name is listed on the lease or rental agreement) may apply starting August 17th by either calling 2-1-1, or filling out the online application form. Visit 211la.org for details.

Free Meal Distribution Update:

Free Meal distribution is still ongoing every Mondays and Thursdays from 12pm to 2pm. We are giving out Free Meals, Produce and Groceries. Come by at T.R.U.S.T. South L.A. office at 4331 S. Main St. Los Angeles, CA 90037.
