On multiple occasions, we also gave out Visa gift cards and school supplies towards those same families.

#Blacklivesmatter

June 2020 saw a historical activation of the civil rights movement in the United States. TRUST South LA continues to stand in solidarity with the protesters and demonstrations across the city and country demanding justice for George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor and countless other Black individuals murdered by police. We strongly support calls to defund police across the country in order to fund necessary community-centered and community-led public investment in Black communities.
