Cynthia is currently a Masters student at UCLA earning a degree in Urban Planning. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at UC Berkeley. She recently moved back to Los Angeles after living in the Bay Area for the last 8 years. As a previous legal advocate for labor rights, an elementary school teacher, and a community organizer, she is passionate about bridging the collective power of community. In her current role as Community Development Associate, Cynthia hopes to be a part of creating self determinant thriving places for the most vulnerable residents of LA. She looks forward to creating relationships with members of the community and engaging in work that will allow them to continue calling this city their home.
